What is the aim of Dendrochronology in botany science ?
Dendrochronology aims to obtain many different data that have affected the growth rate of the tree, especially the climatic data in addition to the age of the tree, by examining the tree rings. By comparing different examples, the approximate years of the event that affected the tree growth rate can be found out, and these data are older than the information obtained from meteorology stations and are among the most reliable sources about the climate in the past. Because of this feature, tree rings play a key role in analyzing past and present climate changes.
