One of the most important names of the 17th century French Literature, Marcel Proust was born in Auteuil in France in 1871 and died in France in 1922. His life was spent fighting asthma. He is one of the founders of Le Banquet magazine. He was educated at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Political Sciences. In 1894, he took place with the Dreyfus in the Dreyfus Incident case. He studied philosophy for a period of time. He won the Goncourt Prize in 1919 with his novel, In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower.
