Although video games have been a part of human life since the 1970s, research into the possible harmful effects of these games to health is still at an early stage. Game addiction, which threatens young generations especially, is very common today. In addition to psychological effects of game addiction, there are some physical effects. These include fatigue, migraine and eye pain due to high concentration, carpal tunnel syndrome (numbness in hands, tingling, pain, weakness and incompetence). Apart from this, personal hygiene and care deteriorate as the person escapes small responsibilities to spend more time playing.
